Highfield Level 3 Award in Delivering Training

What’s It About?

This qualification provides the perfect first step for new trainers. It is mainly aimed at those people who will use pre-prepared training materials to effectively deliver training within the workplace.

The focus of this three day qualification is on the effective delivery of training, allowing candidates to develop planning, preparation and delivery skills, including delivery methods, questioning techniques and time management.  It will give your employees the expertise they need to be able to carry out both in-house training to your team or external training for your customers.

It is a generic training qualification and therefore the skills can be applied to any type of training role whatever the business sector you are in.

Who Should Attend?

This course is ideal for anyone who has never delivered training before or for trainers who want to reinvigorate their training skills, such as managers, proprietors, learning and development managers, heads of department and team leaders.

This course is not suitable for anyone delivering training that is publicly funded or wishing to register with an awarding organisation; those people would need the five day Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification.

Highfield Level 3 Award in Education and Training (formerly PTLLS)

What’s It About?

This education and training course, formerly known as PTLLS, is designed to enable you to deliver teaching, training or learning tasks relevant to your own situation; whether in further education, adult and community learning, work-based learning or other parts of the learning and skills sector.

Who Should Attend

This course is perfect for you if you want to either develop a career in teaching or training. It is also ideal if you  currently teach or train and wish to either take your skills to another level or enhance your current qualifications.

If you are working as an assessor and you wish to achieve a well-respected qualification that provides an introduction to training techniques, this course is right for you.

The course is also suitable if you wish to gain a nationally recognised training qualification and develop a career in the lifelong learning sector.

This course is the minimum requirement for anyone wishing to deliver training that is publicly funded.

Why’s It Important?

Inclusive learning and teaching recognises everyone’s entitlement to a learning experience that respects diversity, enables participation, removes barriers and anticipates and considers a variety of learning needs and preferences.

If you wish to train others, irrelevant of the subject or field, it is important that you have the required skills to be able to train effectively. This sounds obvious, but this is something that is so often overlooked.

Just because someone has knowledge and skills in a specific subject it doesn’t mean that they can then transfer those skills to a training environment!

What Will You Gain?

By attending this education and training course, you will learn how to be an effective teacher or trainer.  You will also know how to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.

You will know how to plan, deliver and evaluate your own training programmes; as well as how to make your training inclusive, engaging and effective.

You will learn different methods of assessment and be able to evaluate the training against the aims and outcomes.

Training Skills and Practice Course

This Training Skills and Practice course is a three day training skills course providing you with the knowledge and skills to be able to plan, deliver and evaluate effective training courses.  It will give you the expertise you need to be able to carry out training for your customers.

It is a generic training qualification and therefore the skills can be applied to any type of training role whatever the business sector you are in.
